The apartment is wonderfully located in downtown Barcelona, set on the tree-lined avenue “Paseo Pujades”.

This residential neighbourhood is very safe and charming with the beatiful Parc de la Ciutadella in front of the building.


It is truly an amazing location to explore the city within walking distance to nearly all the sights but you can escape the crowds of the Old City with just a short walk. And for those that were not, the bus line, tram and subway station: ARC DE TRIOMF is right there for easy access to the rest of the city.

All conveniences and many popular attractions are on the doorstep:
  • Supermarkets, pharmacy, banks, restaurants, bars, terrace cafés, Tapas bars, pharmacy, dentist and a doctor english spoken are all round the corner
  • Traditional covered food market "Santa Caterina" 15 min. walk
  • Taxi, bus stop at the door.
  • Subway station : “Arc de Triomf” 5 min. walk.
  • Beaches at 10 min. walk. Ramblas at 15 min. walk

Ciutadella Park (Face the apartment).

Is the perfect place to relax and jog and it houses the Barcelona Zoo .It has a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere and pleasant attributes such as the spectacular waterfall, gardens, varieties of trees will give you the feeling of being far from the city. You can sip a beer at the no-frills cafe opposite. Stroll over the lake and rent a rowboat.

Santa Caterina Market and The Old City (5 min walk).

Along the way to the traditional food market Santa Caterina  -an excellent place to go for gourmet shopping- you will find Arab baths and the Chocolat Museum, and in few minutes you get in a small, neighborhood known as El Born the former city market-place off all the usual tourist tracks has been transformed almost overnight into the stylish, in-vogue heart of the city.

El Born has two distinct personalities, one day light and the other nocturnal. The district has become one of the most frequently visited spots in the city, injecting it with new life whilst respecting its traditional character. Santa Maria del Mar Church, Picasso Museum , Palau de la Musica, are all in the same area.

 
Maremagnum - Aquarium - Olympic Port - Beaches (15 min walk)

The city's new leisure complex comprises Maremagnum and the Aquarium. The city can also be viewed from the sea on one of the Golondrinas pleasure boats. Boat for a tour around the harbour, and  Catamaran round the seafront.
The Olympic Marina has bars, restaurants and has become a new recreational area.
Barcelona also has 4 km. beaches offers the possibility to enjoy all kinds of water sports.

La Rambla (15 min walk)

It's a lively promenade, from Plaza Cataluña descent toward the harbor and Columbus Monument. The domed viewing gallery of the Monument provides views of the whole Barcelona.

La Boqueria, the (opera house) Gran Teatre de Liceu, and the Royal Shipyards house of the Maritime Museum

Góthic area  (15 min walk).

The remains of the Roman city survive here alongside the city's medieval buildings, witnesses to a splendid past. Nearby, we find the Cathedral,the City Hall,and HOSPITAL DE SANT PAU  World Heritage Site

Gaudi Buildings (15 min walk).

The Sagrada Familia is the synthesis of Gaudi. The first stone was laid in 1882 and the architect worked on the project for over 40 years. During his lifetime, Gaudi completed the four towers of the Nativity façade. He left an overall plan of the project and his surviving drawings have enabled building work to continue. Casa Batllo.
